Challenges -
The conversion of an architecturally rich grade II listed Manor House complex with courtyards and wall gardens to create individual office suites.
Hazardous material was identified during the initial planning stage, further hazardous material along with environmental and archaeological discoveries where found during the refurbishment works.
Solution -
Safety Advisors undertook a detailed asbestos survey and developed the pre-construction information from this. Safety Advisors undertook regular site visits to ensure the site managed the requirements of all stakeholders.
Results -
Significant hazards were controlled, environmental history was sympathetically preserved.
