Challenges -
Converting an existing building into a 60 bedroom modern hotel and retail outlet within the centre of Tenby, bought a lot of local interest. The façade was retained and was supported whilst a steel frame was erected behind it.
The hotel was timber frame with facing clockwork and render system.
Solution -
Working with the local council, Safety Advisors developed the construction phase plan to ensure the requirements of the CDM Regulations and those of the HSE with regard to fire protection and prevention on timber frame buildings. A robust fire strategy was developed and monitored by Safety Advisors.

Skills -
